Photographic Memory
My recent work originates from my own photography – staged in the studio or captured
in the field – which is then synthesized through generative AI models. Driven by high-velocity experimentation, I use the algorithm as a particle accelerator – forcing a collision between disparate photographic records to push the boundaries of what is possible in photomontage. By selectively adopting the formal and sculptural offered solutions, I enter into a collaboration with the "hallucination machine." Together, we become a medium for a collective photographic memory, unearthing forms that exist in the blind spots of our visual culture.
